Terms & Conditions for Customers

  • Price valid for stated quantities only.
  • Taxes - Aero Hardware is required to charge state and local tax on items for which a sales tax exemption certificate has not been provided.
  • Quotes are valid for 90 days or as stated on the quote, whichever is shorter.
  • FOB Factory unless otherwise agreed.
  • Freight Policy - Unless otherwise requested by the buyer, material will be shipped via carriers of our choice with shipping, handling and packaging charges prepaid and added to the invoice. Note: We only insure if specifically requested by the buyer.
  • Damaged Shipment - Merchandise shipped is carefully packed in compliance with carrier requirements. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. If product is damaged in transit, consignee must file claim with the carrier.
  • Shortages - All claims for shortage or shipment errors must be made within 10 days after receipt of shipment.
  • Payment Terms - Payment terms to Customers with satisfactory credit are Net 30 Days, meaning payment is due within 30 days from date of invoice. Customers agree to collection and/or attorney fees not exceeding 30% of amount past due in case of default of payment.
  • All returns, cancellations, and scheduled material/orders must be approved in writing by Aero Hardware & Supply, and returns must be accompanied with an Aero Hardware RMA Number.
  • Unclaimed Checks - The finance department is currently holding unclaimed checks mostly from un-cashed customer refunds. After a period of 60 days, a monthly service fee is incurred for processing and handling of all unclaimed checks.
  • Returned Material Policy - Stocked Products - We will normally accept returned material under the following conditions: A copy of the invoice is furnished. The material is returned within 30 days from date of invoice. The material is in new resalable condition (unused, unpainted, etc.). The material is normal stock for us (not special order). Please call for a Return Authorization Number (RMA) prior to returning any material. Returned material must be accompanied with the RMA Number. Hose assemblies and non-stock material are not returnable and not cancelable.
  • The following may incur additional charges: return material, scheduled material/orders and special certification.
    Beginning August 1st, 2009, most certifications beyond Certificates of Conformance will incur extra charges per our suppliers. They will include: chemical/physical reports, pressure test reports, raw material certification, bar coding requirements, first articles, and others. Please note that certifications requested after order entry will incur higher fees. Please contact Aero Hardware & Supply Inc for more information regarding these changes.
  • Hose quoted by the inch/foot may not be available in one length. Contact customer service with specific length requirements.
  • Any repairs, alterations or modifications of Eaton products by an unauthorized party automatically voids Eaton's warranty.
  • Quality system documents and relevant records are made available to the customers and regulatory authorities when requested.
  • Where specified in the contract, the customer or the customer's representative shall be afforded the right to verify at the supplier's premises and Aero Hardware & Supply's premises that subcontracted product conforms to specified requirements.
  • Exporting commodities from the United States shall be in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. Law is strictly prohibited.
  • Specifications - Specifications are subject to change without notice.
  • Limitation of Liability - Any liability for consequential and incidental damages is expressly disclaimed. Aero Hardware & Supply's liability in all events is limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase price paid.

Terms & Conditions for Vendors

  • Vendors are required to have an AS9100, AS9110 or AS9120 Quality Management System or equivalent.
  • Aero Hardware & Supply, it's customers or the customer's representative, and the regulatory authorities shall be afforded the right to verify at the supplier's premises that subcontracted product conforms to specified requirements.
  • Vendors must provide notification and receive written deviation from Aero Hardware prior to shipment of any non-conforming material.
  • Vendors must notify Aero Hardware of any significant change from prior submissions in processes, equipment, or materials used.
  • Vendors are required to flow down all requirements and conditions to any related sub-tier supplier, including key characteristics identified in the purchasing information.
  • Suppliers are required to retain records for 10 years or as stated on the purchase order, whichever is longer. Records shall be stored to prevent damage, deterioration or loss.

 

Warranty

Aero Hardware & Supply, Inc. offers the same warranty as Eaton Aerospace - Conveyance Systems Division, which is as follows:

Aeroquip warrants, for a period of one year from the date of original delivery, its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Aeroquip's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement at its factory of any parts or parts of said products which shall be returned to Aero Hardware & Supply, Inc. with transportation charges prepaid and which Aeroquip's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to have been defective. This is Aeroquip's sole warranty. AEROQUIP MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURCHASE WHICH EXCEED THE AFORESTATED OBLIGATION ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY AEROQUIP AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS AGREEMENT. Aeroquip neither assumes or authorizes any persons to assume for it, any other obligation in connection with the sale of Aeroquip's products. This warranty shall not apply to any other product or component thereof which has been repaired or altered outside of Aeroquip's or Aero Hardware & Supply's factory in any manner, so as, in Aeroquip's judgment to affect it serviceability or which has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident, or to products made by Aeroquip which have been operated in a manner contrary to Aeroquip's printed instructions. Under no circumstances shall Aeroquip be liable for loss, damage, cost of repair or consequential damages of any kind in connection with the sale, use or repair of any product purchased from Aeroquip.
